ACH Honors Adams County Jail Staff for Courageous Actions That Prevented a Tragic Outcome

(Quincy, Illinois) – Advanced Correctional Healthcare, Inc. (ACH) is delighted to announce Sergeant Venvertloh, CO Cromie, CO Smith, CO Kipping, and CO Jones as 2025 recipients of the Heroic Intervention Award.

According to the Statistica Research Department, the main causes of death in jails include suicide, heart disease, and drug or alcohol intoxication. The Heroic Intervention Award is given to any jail staff involved in a lifesaving situation that saves a life or potentially prevents a tragic outcome where Narcan and CPR were not administered.
