Overdose Revival Award Presented: Vilas, WI

On September 2, 2023, in the Vilas County Jail, a patient became lethargic, limp and would not wake up. The patient’s oxygen saturation was only in the 60’s. Working together, Officers Johnson, Reynolds, Sparling, and Untiedt retrieved Narcan and administered 2 doses to the patient before the patient regained consciousness. The patient was then transported to a local hospital for further care and medical clearance.
