Dr. William Dennis, MD, MPH, CCHP-CP
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. William R. Dennis is a board-certified emergency physician with over 26 years of clinical experience and a strong background in public health, emergency medicine, and correctional health care. A U.S. Navy veteran, he previously served as the EMS Director for Navy Medicine East and holds advanced degrees and fellowship training in Emergency Medical Services and Disaster Medicine. He has also served as an assistant professor, mentoring future healthcare professionals.

Currently, as Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Dennis oversees more than 160 practitioners across 20 states, leading efforts to improve health care delivery and strengthen crisis response in correctional settings.

Dr. Melanie Stroda, DNP, FNP-BC, CCHP-CP, CHSE
Director of Clinical Education
Dr. Melanie Stroda is a nurse practitioner with more than 30 years of diverse healthcare experience, including long-term care, hospice, critical care, and clinical education. A Certified Correctional Health Care Professional (CCHP), she has spent the past decade serving as a site practitioner in over 40 jails across five states.

As a Certified BLS and ACLS instructor and experienced simulation specialist, Dr. Stroda has designed and delivered realistic, technology-driven training programs for more than 15 years. In her current role as Clinical Education Director, she mentors new clinicians and leads national training initiatives, placing strong emphasis on improving care for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
